03
Set up central billing.
The Business or Enterprise plan owner chooses whose credits to cover. Use the account that should own the balance and payments, typically your organization’s email.
1
Open Billing
Sign in to the plan owner’s account and find Team Billing.
2
Add their email
Enter the person’s email under Invite Team Member, then select Invite.
3
Confirm sponsorship
Check that Sponsored is enabled. Set an optional Monthly max spend for the member.
Billing → Team Billing → Invite Team Member
Sponsorship goes wherever they create.
The owner covers that person’s generations across every workspace, including their personal workspaces. The member can leave through Billing → Leave Sponsorship at any time. To return, the owner must invite them again.
Workspace access and sponsorship are separate. Invite someone to the shared workspace for its files, and to Team Billing for credit coverage.

04
Add a billing administrator (optional)
Your basic team setup is complete. Add a billing administrator if a finance teammate needs to review usage and fund the shared balance.
1
Invite from Billing
Sign in as the plan owner. In Billing, invite their email as a billing administrator.
2
Delegate day-to-day funding
They can review usage and add credits. Creators continue using the shared sponsored balance.
This role uses no creating seat and has no generation access. Workspace access is managed separately.

05
Customize workspace roles (optional)
New members already have the Editor role. Customize roles when you need Admin for management or Viewer for review. The workspace owner assigns roles.
1
Open Roles
Open the left Workspace sidebar, then Workspace Settings → Roles.
2
Assign a role
Choose a role beside a member’s name. The change saves automatically.
The full Roles tab, with all permission switches and scopes expanded by default.
Owners and Admins can manage Compliance now. Other role permissions take effect after activation. Workspace Admin and billing administrator are separate roles.
