These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sequencer application, websites, and services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Sequencer LLC ("Sequencer," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Sequencer is an AI-powered platform that enables users to generate, edit, and manage video projects using a chat-based interface and other tools. The Service processes user-provided text prompts and other inputs to create and modify scenes, shots, characters, and other project elements.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant to us that you are at least 13 years old.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We offer both registered accounts (via Google Sign-In) and temporary anonymous accounts. Functionality may be limited for anonymous accounts, and we strongly recommend registering to save and secure your work.
3. User-Generated Content
A. Your Content
You are responsible for all the content you provide to the Service, including text prompts, chat messages, scripts, project descriptions, and any media you upload ("User Content"). You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not violate the law or infringe on the rights of any third party.
B. Ownership of Content

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to your original User Content.

Generated Content: The videos, images, and other media generated by the Service at your direction ("Generated Content") are your property, subject to these Terms. However, your ownership of AI-generated content may be subject to the terms of the third-party AI model providers we use and applicable law. The use of AI-generated content is rapidly evolving, and we make no representation or warranty regarding the copyright status of Generated Content.
C. License to Sequencer
To operate and provide the Service, you grant Sequencer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your User Content and Generated Content solely for the purposes of providing, improving, and developing the Service. This license is limited to what is necessary for us to provide the Service to you and other users.
D. Public Projects
If you choose to make a project public, you grant Sequencer and the public a broader license to view, share, and, in some cases, copy and remix your project's content. Do not make projects public unless you have the right to grant these permissions.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:

Create, upload, or share any content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or infringing on intellectual property rights.

Generate content that violates the safety policies of our third-party AI model providers. We reserve the right to block prompts or terminate accounts that violate these policies.

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Service.
•
Use the Service for any purpose that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
5. Fees and Payment
Sequencer operates on a pay-as-you-go model. You agree to pay all fees or charges to your account in accordance with the fees, charges, and billing terms in effect at the time a fee or charge is due and payable.
All payments are processed through Stripe. We do not collect or store your payment card details. All charges are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.
6. Affiliate Program
Users who participate in the Sequencer Affiliate Program are subject to these Terms and the specific rules of the program. Key rules include, but are not limited to, a prohibition on self-referrals and spamming. Violation of these rules may result in termination of your affiliate status and forfeiture of commissions. 7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with various third-party services, including Google (Firebase), Stripe, and multiple AI model providers. Your use of our Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these third parties. We are not responsible for their practices.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@sequencer.media.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. SEQUENCER MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SEQUENCER, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sequencer and its employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses resulting from your use of the Service or a breach of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of WA, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. By continuing to use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
