Use Edit in 3D when an image is almost right, but the camera angle, framing, or subject placement needs a real spatial adjustment. Start from the regular media card, generate the 3D scene, adjust the camera or subject, then save the render as a new image version.

Start From a Media Card
Upload an image, generate a shot, or pick an existing image version in your project. The 3D option lives on the regular media card, not inside the image editor.

2
Open the 3-Dot Menu
Click the media card's 3-dot dropdown and choose Edit in 3D. Sequencer generates a 3D scene from that image, then opens the editor when the scene is ready.

Edit in 3D is in the media card's 3-dot dropdown.

Adjust Camera and Subject
Once the scene loads, adjust the view until the composition feels right. Move, pan, and rotate the camera to change the angle. Use the subject controls to translate, rotate, or scale the subject inside the scene.
Camera
Pan, rotate, and change the lens angle to reframe the shot.
Subject

Save a New Image Version
When the camera and subject placement look right, click Save Image. Sequencer renders the scene and creates a new image version, so the original stays available.
Save Image
Save Image creates a new version from the 3D render.
Clean Up the Render
3D edits can reveal black areas, soft edges, or blurry details where the new angle exposes pixels the original image did not contain.
5
Open Edit Image
On the saved 3D version, click Edit Image. Choose Nano Banana Pro, mask the black or blurry areas, and inpaint the cleanup.
